1. Two-wheeled vehicle assembly line system

  • Two-wheeled vehicle assembly lines usually refer to the assembly lines for motorcycles, bicycles and electric bicycles. Common ones include plate chain assembly lines, double-speed chain conveyor lines, etc., which are used to transfer parts between various stations to make the production process coherent.

2. Key steps and processes of the two-wheeled vehicle assembly line

  • Frame assembly: Place the frame on the fixture on the assembly line, and install the front fork, rear rocker arm, shock absorber and other components in turn to ensure the firmness and stability of the overall structure of the frame.
  • Powertrain installation: For motorcycles, it involves installing the engine and transmission. For electric bicycles, the motor and battery pack are installed.
  • Wheel assembly: Front wheel: Assemble the tire and hub into a wheel set and install it on the front fork; rear wheel: Electric bicycles need to align and fix the rear wheel with the motor; motorcycles need to connect the rear wheel with the drive chain of the engine.
  • Transmission components: Bicycle/electric bicycles are equipped with chain (or belt) and flywheel to adjust tightness; motorcycle: Install chain cover and transmission gear to check the meshing degree between chain and gear.
  • Electrical system wiring: All electrical components, including headlights, taillights, instrument panel and battery connections, have been wired.
  • Brake system: Install brake components, fix brake discs (or brake drums) on the wheel sets, fix brake calipers (or brake pads) on the frame/front fork, and connect brake wires (or hydraulic pipes);
  • Body assembly: Side panels, fuel tanks and other trim parts are assembled to the frame. All remaining parts, such as mirrors, seats and handles, are assembled.
  • Quality control inspections: Each stage of assembly is quality controlled to ensure that all parts meet specifications.
  • Performance testing: Complete performance testing of the two-wheeled vehicle, including engine functions, braking and electrical systems.
